Project was the first BSL3 Lab constructed with in the NIH Clinical Center Complex with the construction date starting in 1995. The lab was built for the Clinical Pathology lead specialist Ms Laura Ediger and was the model design for it’s time. The lab was renovated again by our team in 2007 to meet the new requirements of the CDC. The project required a complete renovation of all base building mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems as well as the addition of N+1 redundant exhaust systems, state of the art DDC controls and devices. The space is monitored continually by state of the art pressure devices and interlocked with the building maintenance group for quick response and record keeping.
